Livongo Health, a digital health startup aimed at supporting people with chronic conditions, appointed two new members to its leadership team.
Bimal Shah, MD, will serve as the company’s chief medical officer, and Courtnee Westendorf will serve as the its chief marketing office.
Dr. Shah was formerly Livongo’s senior vice president of clinical strategy, where he helped launch the company’s hypertension offering. He remains a faculty member at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University, where he practices as a non-invasive cardiologist.
