A new study published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research showed that Livongo members experienced an average 16.4 percent decrease in high blood glucose and an average 18.4 percent decrease in likelihood of having a day with low blood glucose across the study population.
Livongo saved self-insured employers $83 per participant per month on healthcare costs, based on analysis of two years of medical claims of 3,474 Livongo members compared to 12,065 people with diabetes not enrolled in Livongo.
